Are these good/bad deals for california pricing?
8$ corys (remember their schooling fish so you have to buy 6 at least 0.0 thats 50$!)
3$ guppies
60$ large anubias
80$ kamfa flowerhorn
50$ cuckoo catfish
1,000$ dragon moray eel
14$ boesmans rainbowfish (common type)
180$ kamfa flowerhorn breeding pair
1$ feeder guppies
1$ feeder goldfish
0.50$ ghost shrimp
150$ parrot fish
40$ baby ebjd
120$ discus 3"
20$ angelfish small

Their prices for the most part werent that bad. BUT I thought that their schooling fish were off the charts! I paid 100$ for a school of standard COMMON corydoras! And it wasnt even that big of a school! I dont understand how they can charge so much for feeders... When i heard people were getting them for 10 cents each i though you were joking?

Are these listed fish overpriced?

Seems pretty standard from what I've seen...kind of a lot for feeders but you shouldn't be using them anyway...
Some stores will give you a discount if you buy several of one species, I would ask next time.

Those prices scare me since i live in Hong Kong... $60 for large anubias? thats crazy... over here the most expensive price i've seen for some pretty large ones were like USD $20-25 tops... Dragon Moray at $1000 ouch... seen one here for about USD $100

Definitely not a cheap hobby if your living in the US thats for damn sure...

Thats crazy for feeders, from what ive seen expensive for discuss and i havnt been able to find dragon morays, but ive never heard of them being that cheap in the US. the rainbows and typical guppies are about the same in the states ive lived in

some of those prices are okay, some are WAY too high - angels are $4 here, feeders are 10 cents each, Cuckoo cats are $15, ghost shrimp are also 10 cents, parrot fish are $8 to $14, and that size discus are $15-25 here, just for comparison for my area.

half of them are okay, others are insane. Feeders should cost around 10-20 cents.
Here they have petland, and we get a discount when we buy 3 or more. and a bigger discount for 5 or more etc.
so if I paid 6 dollars for a fish, i could get 4 for 20, because the price would go down to like 4 when I get 3 or more. Sounds like your LFS don't want to get new customers and are happy to rip off their curtrent ones

All of them are too much. Most LFS here in my area charge half the price and their fish are all healthy and not bad looking either.

That's expensive.
I live in Cali too but those fish, except the flowerhorns, in my local fish stores cost about a fraction of those prices.
