Ripsaw Cat Shedding?

My ripsaw catfish seems to be shedding off some sort of skin like a snake. Any help and idea how to cure? Thanks

It's not 'normal' for catfish to 'shed'. Not sure who told you that.

Catfish shed? I wonder who told you this because that has not been my experience with several catfish and certainly never heard this from anyone who keep this particular catfish.

If they "shed" it's because the water parameter is off.

Some catfish that have keratinized skin do it, i had a hillstream. lol no idea why I know this but there you go.

but I don't think yours should be doing it because if it was natural it wouldn't be making the movements your fish is doing. If I was you i'd WC WC WC and med med med

They were like this when I got them. Heard they were kept in bad conditions...

My lima does the same thing on ocassion. I have tested the water a few times when this has happened and water parameters were all good. It may be caused by stress just a thought idk.
