How do i go about rinsing live sand, i've rinsed many a dry sand, but never live.

Is it the same way? or do we have to do it different because it is "alive"
How can something stay alive in a bag anyhow? :screwy:

Anyway, how do i clean in? or do i just throw it in?

This is the sand in question: http://www.livesand.com/

claims instant-cycling too, i call bs.

I wanted to stay away from live sand becuase i've never used it but it came free with my tank.

That sand should still have some water in the bag with it. You would not want to rinse it out, all you need to do is put the sand down and put some water. Done.

Remember.... Live sand is sand that already should have bacteria introduced into it. Not live creatures, albeit it can happen that something survived in the sand like brittle starfish.

Sweet thanks.

I know its not live creatures, just thought it would be hard for bacteria to live in hot warehouses/trucks, specially here in Texas.
