Yikes! That's a good sized Jau it looks like. Anymore pics? Size? Tankmates?
I've kept a baby one in the past and it was the meanest fish I've ever kept, of any species, period. Only know a handful of other members that have kept Jau and they had similar experiences.

The Jau is about 15" I hope to grow him to 50" one day. His tankmates are some pbass, wolf fish, and vailantii cat , trying to keep the theme of the tank South American. Wish he ate pellets and at this point he only wants cut fish or live. What happened to your Jau?
