I'm trying to decide on a substrate for my 750g and am giving river rock a lot of consideration. Can I get some opinions? Post up some pictures if you have river rock to help me decide. Thanks.

Sorry do not have any pictures but I am in the process of switching all of my tanks to river rock and will only have river rock in my tanks from now on.

I went from gravel, to sand, back to gravel, and now to river rocks. They look awesome and are easy to maintain.

I just put river rock in a small tank and i think it looks awesome, i cant imagine how nice it would be in a 750

I used to have river rock in my old 10 gal, they looked really nice. I switched over to sand to allow the eel to burrow. Sry I dont have any pics to show tho... I am sure they would look awesome in a 750.

I have river rock in my 180 and love da look. only down side is when algae grows on them, so just be sure to get a good pleco that cleans. :D
i got a bunch for cheap at homedepot, just be sure to rinse really good.

also be sure not to make the river rock to deep, sometimes leftover food can seep down the cracks and get stuck on the bottom with no way for the fish to get them.

I'm hoping my giraffe cat will be able to keep it fairly clean and reach trapped food. No negatives?
