I used to think so. I got her from someone on here about 8-10 months ago. At first I had her in a 55g with a geo. She was 3"s then. Well as she grew I had to give the geo away(still living) cause baby girl started running down on it. So for awhile she was in the 55 all alone. Once I seen her growth rate start to slow down I shipped all my fish out of the 90g and gave baby girl the whole place to her self. Soon as I did that she grew 2"s in like two months and she started turning color. Her fins became bright red and the black spots on her face are turning red.
I was all for keeping her Until adult hood to see if she will become all red. I can see it but I've fallen in love with FH's. So when I went out ur way to china town I picked up 2 small RD FH's, plus I had picked up a small ZZ FH the week before. So I put the ZZ and one of the RD"s in the 90g with baby girl. Since then she has not been her self. She doesn't come out from under her house much, before then she would be swimming around all day.
I say all that to say, she used to be very agressive but latlely she has been acting very weird. I'm all in with my FH's now and have lost some interest in my all time favs- CRENICICHLA. So if you want a cobra and don't want to wait until that one time of the year they are available, I have one between 6-8"s that I'll let go for $100. I'll post pics when I get home for you if you are interested!!!
