River Wonders cobra and marmorata pikes

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Doesn't look like any marm I've seen ... looks very cool though.

They have had those same pics up advertising those fish for over 2 years now. I doubt they have either in stock.

With that said, the fish that is listed as a marmorata is actually a picture of a johanna variant. The fish listed as a cobra, aka sp. "Tapajos II", most definitely is not a cobra. It might be a marmorata that is pictured but I'd venture a guess that it is just a sp. "Venezuela".

When a seller butchers their pictures associated with a specific fish so badly I have to question whether any of the pikes they sell are actually what they are selling them as... buyer beware!!

Haha cool thanks guys, I thought something was up since they've been "instock" for so long.

cichlid fiend - is that cobra of yours aggro as hell or what?

I used to think so. I got her from someone on here about 8-10 months ago. At first I had her in a 55g with a geo. She was 3"s then. Well as she grew I had to give the geo away(still living) cause baby girl started running down on it. So for awhile she was in the 55 all alone. Once I seen her growth rate start to slow down I shipped all my fish out of the 90g and gave baby girl the whole place to her self. Soon as I did that she grew 2"s in like two months and she started turning color. Her fins became bright red and the black spots on her face are turning red.
I was all for keeping her Until adult hood to see if she will become all red. I can see it but I've fallen in love with FH's. So when I went out ur way to china town I picked up 2 small RD FH's, plus I had picked up a small ZZ FH the week before. So I put the ZZ and one of the RD"s in the 90g with baby girl. Since then she has not been her self. She doesn't come out from under her house much, before then she would be swimming around all day.

I say all that to say, she used to be very agressive but latlely she has been acting very weird. I'm all in with my FH's now and have lost some interest in my all time favs- CRENICICHLA. So if you want a cobra and don't want to wait until that one time of the year they are available, I have one between 6-8"s that I'll let go for $100. I'll post pics when I get home for you if you are interested!!!
