Just wondering if anyone has ever ordered anything from Riverwonders.com.

They have tonga live rock on sale right now for 3.90/lb with free shipping.
Any feedback would be helpfull. Im always alittle hesitant to order from the web
 
i thought about ordering from them a while back, from what i could gather, they're legit but you should call them before ordering to make absolutely sure they have what yhou want in stock, since alot of neg feed back are from them not having what some people order instock and still took the order online which cause delay in shipping because they have to wait until they get item in before shipping it out.
 
Yes, that's right. I ordered some fishes listed on their website without calling them and it turns out that they do not have it. I waited for 2 weeks and had to through paypal to get reimbursed. They refunded money without any problem. Fast refund when it comes to their attention.
 
CAUTION... Do some more research on here before you spend your money with them. It's not difficult to find complaints. They don't exactly have a perfect track record. They were very slow in replying to an inquiry I sent them a while back, and I decided not to take any chances.
 
I have purchased from River Wonders on 2 different occasions, and have had no problems. Both times were within the last 6 months. I e-mailed them before I ordered, told them what I wanted, and they took care of it. They replied to my e-mail in less than 24 hours both times. I purchased zebra plecos from them when they were on sale, and the fish were expertly packed and shipped. I would not hesitate to order from them again.
 
I have ordered fish from them before. Everything went well. I would definitely recommend them.

One side note though. I do agree with others that you should call first for availability before placing an order. When I was on the phone with them talking about my own order, I asked about another fish that I had seen on the website. They said that they were sold out of them long ago. My point is that the fish was still on the website where you can order it even if it's sold out.

But all in all, a good site to order from.

P.S. I should say that I ordered when they were moving into their new establishment. They had mentioned that things were hectic and perhaps that is why the fish hadn't already been removed from the website.
 
Well, I called RW over the weekend to find out if they did have the live rock in stock. I took a chance and ordered without speaking to someone there first. I just recieved confirmation that my order was shipped out, Ill keep my fingers crossed that it shows in good quality. Ill post pics of the rock once it arrives, thanks for your feedback
 
I finally recieved my live rock that I ordered. It took alittle over a week but I did not have to pay shipping. Came in looking really nice, worth the wait
