So I got a new faucet adaptor for my RODI unit, because the old one sprayed water all over the place when I turned the faucet off (My mom wasn't too happy about it) and now it keeps popping off....I use plumber's tape, but that just delays the inevitable.

Those faucet adapters are a joke. The threading is to small a fine to withhold the pressure. Get a 2 way garden hose splitter and tap into your washing machine water supply. RO/DI units work best with warm water, tap into the hot water, by the time the water reaches the membrane it will just be warm. If your water source is well water the TFC membrane will be ok, if municipal water you may want a CA or cellulose acetate membrane, they can withstand chlorine and actually benefit from it due to reduced microbes. Only downfall is CA membranes are only about 20gpd but will last you a long time even with pre-filter neglect. TFC membranes will quickly deteriorate with chlorine exposure.

Dude, thank you so very much. It worked, I cut a small piece of tubing, brought it to Lowes and bought a couple garden hose splitters that fill it, it did pop off the first time, but a little plumber's tape fixed it up. Thanks again, bro!
