Alright MFKers, I need help. I believe I'm gonna get a RO system.
I keep SA Cichlids and I think the use of an RO system will help me get closer to their natural environment. I am an idiot when it comes to these RO systems so please point me in the right direction.
Here is my water out of the tap:
PH:8.2 (does RO change the ph?)
Nitrite:0 ppm
Nitrate:0-10 ppm
G. Hardness:12 ppm (I would like it to be about 5-7ppm)
Total Alkalinity:80-120 ppm (not exactly sure what T.A. is?)
Chlorine:Yes
Chloromine:not sure
I need help on what to buy and what will help me get my water closer to what SA cichlids are accustom too. I need a RO System with atleast 60 GPD. I do WC every weekend. Saturdays a few tanks and Sunday the rest of them.
