RO unit question. Have i lost my mind?

Hey fellow fishermen. I found a "old" system i had from back in the day from costco i think.

Its a Watts premier WP5 system. The unit manual is seen here https://www.wattspremier.com/manuals/199349.pdf

I was looking towards the bottom of it on page 22 and found that it stated that it would produce 9 gallons a day? i was pretty sure that the WP5 made 50 gallons a day. Am i crazy? Why would a system make only 9 gallons a day? Is there a way to "fix" it?

I cant tell for sure from the photo but it appears to take standard cartridges. The top, horizontal cartridge should be the membrane. If you replace it with a better membrane, you should get more output.
