RO unit question

i have a new 60 gallon and i am going to purchase an RO unit because i was told you need that in oreder to obtain the right PH for discus. Is there anything i need to know before i buy it. i was looking at them and i kept seeing a gdp rating what is that. i have no clue about them so any help would be appreciated.

Are they wild discus? What is your ph and kh out of your tap?

im not sure if this is what it is but it could be how many gallons u use to make one gallon of ro water

I've only seen gallons per day rating. That is, how much RO water the system can produce within a 24 hour period.

If you get a RO unit, I would strongly suggest getting a 4 stage system with a storage tank and a boster pump.

i havent obtained the discus yet but, i am going to get tank raised discus from a breeder, and my tap ph is around 7.0-7.5
