I forgot the RO water was on, the bicket was sitting on the dryer, since my filter setup is hooked to the washer. That seemed like a logical place to put it :)
There was a couple of inches of water in the laundry room in the morning when I go up. No real damage just pride(I have a wife that remembers everything).
I now sit it on the washer, that way if it overflows no harm it just drains into the washer.

Why dont you invest in a shut off valve for the r/o unit and then a float valve for wherever you are storing the r/o water?

I can't count how many times ive done that...prolly over 20 times.
