Taking a trip to NJ and plan to stop by a few stores. Besides, SA, Absolutelyfish ,Aquascape, any other recommendations? Rt 4 aquarium & Pet Shanty used to be on my list.

Route 4 closed and moved down the road. Sorry to say the new store is not worth stopping at. I was there 3 weeks ago, what little fish they had were in sad shape.
The Pet Shanty is closed up and gone.
Shark Aquarium, Aquascape "Aquarium Paradise", Absolutely Fish, Adams Pet Safari, The Fish Hut, Sea Level Aquarium are the North Jersey stores I go to. If your into NY there's Monster Aquarium in Flushing, I've never been there but they post nice fish on their Facebook.
Central Jersey, Tropiquarium, Sharkeys Aquarium, RT 88 Pet world, Jenison's Aquarium not a LFS but small Commercial aquarium worth checking out if in the area.
South Jersey, Aquarium Center, Ocean Aquarium, JR Aquarium, Monster Pets. There's the Camden Aquarium large commercial aquarium not a LFS worth the trip from anywhere. It will take you about 3 hours to go through. There are several large fresh water displays along with an Amazon display with a large Arapaima.
Not far from South Jersey in PA is The Fish Factory, The Hidden Reef, and another Monster Pets in south Philly.
I could go on..........LOL

going to have to check out some those places myself Kawamikie thanks for the list of LFS! I go to most of the north jersey places you listed already but always love to make new stops.

Ely's Fish Farm is an old school classic LFS. Some monsters, but mainly a time machine that brings you back to the good old days. It's the anti-PetCo. Always worth stopping by!

I was in NJ yesterday and stopped by absolutely fish, fish hut, aquatic paradise and shark aquarium. All look to be great stores. I was not impressed with fish hut. Too many mislabeled fish, though they looked great.
I really liked aquatic paradise (I think that's the name). More rays than I've ever seen.
Absolutely fish has been a favorite of mine. They offer their employees paid training, benefits and vacations. They take customers on conservation trips, all while running a great store.
Shark aquarium is another favorite. They have some great prices on aquatop pumps right now.
