I'm trying to save some room so I was thinking of moving my 8 inch rock bass in with my 4 inch leopard bushfish.. I don't have a great feeling about it but te rock bass so far has been very docile, so is the bushfish. I plan on moving them to either a 55 or hopefully a 75. Think it can be done?

No. Rock Bass are opportunistic ambush predators that can and will try and eat the majority if not all the fish that can fit in their mouth. They're very aggressive as well.
Lol same here i have a african leaf fish in 55 tank that im trying to figure out wich natuve fish should go in with him im thinking about crappie becuase they dont protect themselves and are shy
