I posted like a week or so ago about getting my hands on a shadow bass. Looks like there is a dead end to that street unless I travel to get one myself. That being said is anyone selling or able to catch a rock bass?! Preferably on the smaller size and I would pay for it

Rock Bass have a much wider distribution than Shadow Bass, more or less centered on the Great Lakes region. If you are in that region you should be able to catch some yourself, or perhaps get a lead at a tackle shop to someone who might help. Failing that, they have apparently been introduced into numerous locations in North America, far removed from their original range. Again, ask around at tackle stores.
They are a very interesting fish to keep in a native-species tank, easy to maintain and feed, very cichlid-like behaviour.
