OK, so Since my texas holey rock is on backorder, and they do not know when it will come in, I decided to make a small little rock formation of my own with rocks I found in my backyard, and my parents house, that I took home cleaned, bleached, and boiled. Found some nice flat rocks to stack, and just a few here and there. So, Until my other rock comes in this will have to do. What ya think? And I took a few peoples advice and move my pump off the filter, and made my heater verticle...I also moved my parrot back into the tank, he actually was doing a lot better in the cichlid tank than the other tank.

have you tried a landscape stone dealer? you can get some really nice pieces for dirt cheap. i bought a whole tanks worth of sandstone to fill a 55 gallon tank for only 17 bucks.

no center bracing on your tank?

It's an older model I presume. I used to have one of those Hagen 108gal, 6 footer, with no center bracing, but man, was that glass thick. I don't think I'd exaggerate if I'd say it weighed almost as much as my new 180.

No, no center brace, this is an old achool tank, they did not have center braces. There were a full 4 foot light bixtures, you couldnt put the 2 small ones on there even if you wanted to, lol.

Same with my 55. I just bought a 55 gallon top off craigslist and then constructed a centerpiece bridge from a 2x4 piece of wood. Works like a charm.

Nice rock setup.
