Rock shrimp

I went to the lfs and picked up a rock shrimp , can anybody give me any info on these guys

i went to petco and i got a bamboo shrimp and when i got home the look exactly alike so i guess it a bamboo shrimp heres a pic of both

They are filter feeders. The filter food from the water column with the "fan" type things on the end of there front legs. They like a gentle current and you will probably notice they will sit around a filter intake with there filters out. Can grow to a decent size, 4"-5".

They do best in a well-established tank (not just cycled) because of their style of feeding. However, they will also eat flakes off the bottom of the tank if hungry.

They are also called Bamboo, Fan and Flower shrimp among other names.

yea there rock shrimp were selling those things off fast at the puppy center
were getting skunk loaches in tommorow i think if your interested i can verify that by tommorow

Yeah I've seen one of those before. We were at the beach... Everybody had matching towels... Well you know how it goes.
