Hello, I was hoping to get some suggestions of what kinds of rocks people are using for their Tanganyikan setups…particularly for species of Julidochromis. Thank you in advance.

Overall for Africans I like granite, especially when smoothed into perfect rounded shapes by water, i.e. river rocks. For the Julidochromis they like one of the rocks to be flat and set up like a lean-to with the back on the substrate and the front propped up an inch so they can enter. They like to lay their eggs at the back in the dark on the underside of the flat rock.
