Not at all.

Hujeta gars are non aggressive and super skittish.

they would be fine. rocket gars and p.bass inhabit the same lakes and rivers in araguaia - tocantins (Brasil)

Also it all depends on what size you get em.

The first two were spot on. In addition to that, the cichla will eventually outgrow the hujeta and might even try to eat them.

And that they inhabit the same waters doesnt mean they'd do fine in a limited space such as a tank. I could list hundreds of combinations of fish which inhabit the same lakes and would ultimately kill each other in a tank.
