ok as you all konw i have 2 rocket gar. my question is how big a tank they need, what kind of filtration, sand or gravel, how to feed them, and how big do they get.

in the wild theve been cought over 20'' but in tanks they don't get much bigger the 12'' so a 180 gallon would work for life but you could keep them in a 125 for a long time if not for life

Mine are on an exclusive diet of Hikari Floating arrow' pellets. and are growing like weeds!! They are in a 180 now, at about 7 inches, They are so skiddish and flighty id say a 5x2x2 is the smallest tank i would put them in for life,

They've got 2 at my LFS at 2" i was gonna get them but do seem quite delicate so i left them.
