Some rocks i just cleaned (1-1/water-beach solution, rinse, dry) are now bubbling from 2 rocks in my water. Is this because of the bleach, or is it because the bubble stream is coming from cracks, and there is trapped air?

Should i be worried and take the rocks out just in case?

the cleaning you gave the rocks may have cleared a filled cavity just enough to let the trapped air sneak by.. but definately looks like air is all

That's air. My sandstone does that every time I put it into a tank.

Rocks don't really ever need to be bleached, though. Bleach itself is something to avoid. I've always just soaked and scrubbed new rocks. No problem with them, ever. I mean, if you told me you had bleached something, I wouldn't want to put in any fish tank. It still mystifies me that people bleach things. There isn't much that dehydration, hot tap water, time and some elbow grease won't eliminate.

Yea, i just read somewere its good to srub them with a bleach muxture first, not sure though, doesnt seem to make a dif to me. Problem is i had some in there before and within a week there was a moldy substance everywhere..

just air bubbles that are in the pores, after a couple of hours at max they should stop, i have that happen all the time with the rocks i add to my tanks

Just air being released.
