I know that for large live rock structures there are several options to create large structures with less rock using PVC frames, drilling, etc.
I am setting up a large rock work structure for an African cichlid tank (4 feet tall) has anyone used items such as plastic buckets or plastic containers to stack rocks around to increase the impact of a structure using less rock? Thinking about drilling the container to allow water flow then stacking rocks around and on top to hide the container. Would love to see some pictures if someone has done it with success or if there is an obvious problem you can think of.
