i was thinking of making a rocky deep river biotope with a couple plants in my 30 cube i was wondering how to do that and what i would need i have an eheim pro II and a hot magnum as filtration.

Is that a 30" cube? (30"x30"x30")

To make it look deep, it needs to be darker, you don't find a whole lot of light down deep. And you will need rocks to make it rocky, and as for the biotope part, what fish are you planning?

not sure i would fit the fish to the tank not the tank to the fish i would like it to be soulth american though and the cube is 30 gallons 20 by 18 by 20

You wouldn't fit a whole lot in there. Some dwarf cichlids, tetras, some catfish, thats about it...

Very easily.

Put some egg crate on the bottom of the tank. Place your rocks directly on the egg crate. Fill around that with sand until you are happy with the depth. Fill with water. Turn on heater and filter, wait until tank cycled and add your fish
