I have 3/4" glass out of a commercial aquarium, 72x30". I bought two 60" pieces for the ends. The base is two 3/4" pieces of plywood covered with Pond Armor in charcoal grey. The stand is made from 2x6 with the ones on the floor pressure treated. The skin will be poplar and the glass braces are made from maple. Assembly will be tomorrow morning. I am pumped people! !!

Looking good so far...interesting approach. The tank and the stand will actually be 1 piece when it done. Or am I looking at it wrong?

Awesomeness...with every build thread I grow more and more eager to try one myself.

Cant wait to see this bad boy up ! You've been so patient and its paying off.....Subscribed !

Plenty of fish big enough, or will be.

My son has the woodworking skills. You won't believe the jigs he made me to align and hold the glass while the silicone cures.

Go for it, Krich!
