Last weekend we caught the most red finned of Roeboides Tetras found i 5 years of collecting.
Normally they look as below.

Sometimes caught with a slight pink tinge in the caudal.

But last weekend the ones collected in the Rio Uni, the red color was much more dramatic, and they were quite a bit larger, maybe 4 inches TL (10 cms).
Its funny, the Uni is more of a stream than a river.



The stream is only about 20 ft wide at this point in the season.
