I have read that moonlight can stimulate breeding. Is this true? If so is it true for cichlids?

im not an expert, but my guess would be that it does in the wild cause of the tide effects, not so much in the aquarium because of the controlled environment. However i may be wrong if the fish can feel/sense gravitational pull which could be possible.
