I am currently running a bare bottom tank 20 long for my Cories that is being filtered using a air driven sponge filter. I want to get some Anubias gold that are planted inside of clay pots with Red Sea Flora Base. Do I need to worry about water circulation inside the pots and root oxygenation?

Anubias will do best if the rhizome remians unburied. You can bury the roots which will be fine just not the rhizome. Anubias will be happier tied down to a rock or a piece of wood.
Ok, so just to be clear, it doesn't matter if there is water circulation to provide oxygen to the roots?
