Rope Fish

I bought a rope fish a while back. Probabley about a year ago. I have a 90 gallon tank down in my basement with no top. Yeah well i found my rope fish dried up on the stairs leading up to my up stairs. Lesson learned. Get a top for a rope fish

Yes, secure lids are all the rage if you dont want to find fish jerky on your floor. D:

I feel your pain... i had the same problem with my one, but the tank had a lid and the rope fish still got through

Had that happen while working at the LFS. I ordered a gorgeous 10" tire track eel with the intention of eventually moving him to our display tank, covered him all up.. someone left it open one night, one large fish jerky and an unnoccupied QT tank came of that one
No wonder they had a dried up rope fish handing by the registers I had wondered about until then..
