So I have been thinking about getting a ropefish. I have tried to do some research online but as many of you know, sites can have the wrong info posted. So Im coming to you guys. If you have them please let me know.

How big do they really get, and what are their water parameters? and will my 75 be good enough for one?

You should get better responces in the Polypterus section.

75G is more then enough for one of these. I don't know much about them but they get 18 inches long. Rarely getting 24 inches in captivity unless you have an older specimen.

ya, they can get pretty long but grow pretty slowly and are very flexible so a 75 should be good for a LONG time if not for life
