I have to turn the MFK once again for advice. Thanks in advance. I've been battling ich in the tank for about a week now. It appears that I'm winning. The tank has two ropefish and a catfish. Only one ropefish still has a few white spots. As the spots fall off the ropefish there are sores. Mostly the sores look like dark spots but one of the ropefish is bleeding a little from one of the sores. Is there anything I should be doing for them?

I've been treating the ich with heat and salt (mostly heat, I only used salt for the first 4 days). The pic shows the ropefish that is bleeding from a small sore on the side of his head. One of his eyes is also cloudy. It's a bad pic but the best I could do with my camera.

The ropefish and catfish are very active and all are eating well. The ropefish in the pic likes to hang out at the top resting on a plant sometimes. That's what he is doing in the pic.

Thanks for any advicropefish sore.JPGe.
