Rose Queen confirmation?

I was told these were rose queens in the cichlid forum. They said try hybrid forum for a better answer. They were supposed to be synspilums, but 4 of the 8 turned orange at about three inches.

I say rose queen. Looks similar to my faded 1.

They are rose queens if they looked like synspilums at first. I used to have 4 of each at the same size that I mixed together and ended up not being able to tell them apart until they faded.

they sell em at my lfs.the ones i.ve seen are a purplish color-not orange.looks like a midas or red devil

Where does your lfs order from? These look like some things seagrest sells calls em cichlasoma sp. "orange show"
I'd b interested in knowing if these came from a national shipper (florida farm) like segrest,
cuz i;d like a hookup for some good orange cichlasoma synspilum nonsnense

I got them from tfd in april, before they went out of buisness. They were only 7 bucks a piece.
