they spawned once before but the parrot picked a pot that was too small for the rose queen to fit into to fertalize. or he just wasnt fertil. kinda hoping he is i think this would make a neat cross.
what do yall think?
it was cool to catch them in the act last night, had to stay up till 5 am to see it.

also showing my mated oscars, red devil, midas, and off to the left was jack dempseys. hopefully ill get spawns from them soon.

also can someone show me hoe to embed the video into the thread?
 
For embed all you have to do is copy the embed code from youtube and put it in the little youtube logo on the "go advanced" posting box of MFK.

it is just
yt and /yt with brackets around them with the embed code from youtube inside the brackets.

I could go for some better jams in your next video but nice pair you should end up with some cool king kong parrot looking fish. You'll be surprised how differently they all turn out though.

yeah im hoping for the purple/pink color and the size of the rose queen, hes at least 12 inches.

He's sweet I was hoping for a male but I ended up with a female. I couldn't have hoped for a cooler fish though she has a crazy personality. My male won't fertilize her eggs though.

tropical fish distributors over a year ago for $.80. Only 1/5 lived but it was still worth it. They sell these on aquabid still and they're totally worth it. If you want yours to have nice colors and a big hump I suggest trying some kens premium soft and moist with krill pellets from www.kensfish.com for some reason this food does amazing things for my rose queen.

man idk if i can afford that seenms kinda pricey....:)

if this spawn isnt fertile i will have to order a few.

i hear alot about that fish food, guess i will have to try it.
