Hi I have a ten inch rose queen in a 50g. I wrote a post a while ago seeing if I could put in any cichlids in the tank with her and I was told no. Today I came across a nice smallish leapard pleco. Could I put a pleco in the tank small or large? Thanks

That would depend on your your fishes aggression. Personally, based on whaty I know about these cichlids, I would advise against it. That is unless you can provide plenty of hiding place for the pleco to retreat into

Mine is about the same size as yours and it will exterminate anything put in his 75gal. Hands, gravel vac, thermometer.... everything is attacked.
I threw in a couple of barbs that I had no room for anymore and they were promptly killed, but not eaten. Its like he will not let anything alive in his territory.
I think in a 50gal, you do not have room for something else anyway...

Burt:)
