I have two questions for you guys. Are rose queens and purple rose queens the same fish? Also what size tank do I need for an adult rose queen?

Frank Castle Frank Castle it's hard to link your homie lnsh guy because I can't remember his name. One of you two can help him im sure. Mobile is harder than browser.

Call me Ace lol

Rose queens have a purple hue to them and there isn't a variant just for that color. Post a picture of the actual fish. Some get dyed as well so pictures will help.

A rose queen is no different than a Flowerhorn so a minimum of 55 gallons for one at max size is usually a foot.

We grew out some rose queens at the store I worked at and in the six months we had them they grew to about 6". They were transferred to another store and maybe another 6 months later the remaining few were around 10".

cool thanks all. I had one about 8 years ago that was gorgeous and really aggressive. I think I will pick up another. When I got her I don't remember there being a purple rose queen around.

This was mine. Before any says it. No she was not dyed. I had her for over 5 years and color never faded. I know we all say it, but I mean it the picture does not do her justice
