Rose Queens: Real hybrid flowerhorn or dyed?

We got some at the store, they are so bright they look dyed. I have cell phone pics uploading. I have no experience with these and need your input.

mine has great color (there are some photos floating around) and people claim she is dyed but she is not. She is a really nice orange to orange-pink depending on the mood. She does have some "smudge" spots on her that look typical of a died fish, but she has had the same color and same changes in color with mood swings for almost two years now. Dye would not hold that long. The thing I am most curious about is that most of the ones I have seen have had pretty different body conformations.

I just bought a flowerhorn,put him in with my red devil...i heard that a flowerhorn is a hibrid of the red devil...can anybody elaborate.(sorry not trieing to steal or change your thread) just need input.lot's of input.....

Some are dyed but most are not and their color is quite wonderful, but like FH this rages with the quality. Rose Queen are not Flowerhorn but are Hybrid
I once heard from a very reliable source though they were not hybrid and were natural but being in the fish world for over 16 years now. If what he told me was true and they were New World I would know this by now. Conclusion yes they are hybrid but to answer one of your questions. they are not Flowerhorn. Just as Fortune Fish, RT, SRT, are not. They are in their own category but are grouped closely with the Flowerhorn because the group of hobbyist that seek these fish are one in the same I hope I helped

Ummm Rose queens are not flowerhorns. Rose queens are like blood parrots, King Kong parrots.

and to answer the other person asking about flowerhorns. Most flowerhorn breeds contain blood from the amphilous species.
