I have a 90 gallon with 20 roselines (will be rehoming to a 125 around Christmas). The 90 has the 20 roselines 10 diamond tetras and 10 brilliant rasboras. The 125 will have roselines and others i haven't made my mind up yet. anyway the question is a friend of mine has 8 up for sale because they have become fin nippers and killed an angel fish. I was wondering if i can get them i'm worried that my sharks will pick up on this or that hers will kill mine (all sharks are around 2 to 2.5 inches).

Odd that they became fin nippers. They are generally very mild and peaceful. I would say you have little to worry about in regards to adding her 8 to your 20.

I have mine with angels and tetras. My angels are more aggressive than the Roselines.

Roselines fin nippers? I have 4 that are six inches in my 65. I have two adult angelfish in with them. The roselines are afraid of the angelfish and seemned to stay out of their way. I have had them for years with a lot of differant fish and never seen then interact with any other fish but another roseline. I have even kept them with neon tetras which they completely ignored. Maybe your friends roselines are not the culprits nipping the angels?

I have 10 in my 125gal with 9 Angels and 5 Silver Dollars. I have had this set up for almost 9 months without any issues. They are very peaceful and playful...Great addition to my tank.
