am thinking about adding a group as dithers to my wimpy cichlid tank but worried about temperature.

does anybody know if they like the colder temperature per se, or is it because colder water is more oxygenated? O2 is not a problem for my tank but I keep it around 80F.

I guess my questions is - has anybody been able to keep roseline sharks at 80F for a relatively long period?

Need to make a quick decision.....thanks!

As far as I know, Puntius denisoni (Roseline sharks), prefer cooler temps, and do better. But that is what I have heard, never kept in my tanks. But I am assuming that if your temp is around 78 with plenty of o2 and movment through fillters and powerheads, then you should be ok. But why use Roselines, they are so expensive for dithers??

Very hard to imagine that if acclimated right, 80 would make any diffirence to 78.
