I've been thinking of getting a snake and i think ive narrowed it down to either a rosy boa or a corn snake (unless you guys have any other suggestions, id like something that stay relatively small and manageable). I was wondering how these two compare in terms of handling/biting, and care?

Both snakes are very good begginer snakes. Should be personal prefrence. You can also look into king snakes, gopher snakes, ball pythons, garter snakes, and hognose snakes. All of thses snakes stay ralatively small and are pretty easy to keep. Best thing to do is look up care sheets, look at pictures, and ask questions. Best of luck.

I have a king snake and love it, I also had a baby corn for a while, you cant go wrong with either!

I've always been partial to corn snakes. They are very hardy snakes and most have a great temperment. I have never owned a Rosy, so I can't speak from experience...however I have heard that they do a good deal of hiding, so if you are looking for a "display" snake a corn may be a better option.
