my betta is rly aggressive now my rosy red minnow is picking on her relentlessly, this rosy red minnow was playing constantly wit another rosy red it was rubbing against the other minnow but now it is attacking my betta only, help! 10 gallon tank
Probably trying to mate. Tropical temps tend to do that to coldwater fish. Either that or suffocate them. Yes, remove the minnow and put it back in the pond.
is both of them and no they are not trying to breed as i just experimented wit my 2.5" Green terror i putted it there in the 10 and then to my surprise the bigger minnow started attacking the Gt and won, sure the gt bited the minnow but the minnow didnt give up and now the gt runs away from the minnow all the time, it didnt lip lock though,
wow . . . to the OP, I honestly have no idea what is going on with your tanks, but it is always a good idea to keep betta separate from any fish that might attack them . . .
and I have to know, what size tank is your GT in (?)
my gt lives in my 55 gallon tank wit a bigger severum. Since it was so weird, i mean nobody ahs ever experienced an aggressive rosy red minnow attacking a betta, i wondered if the rosy red minnow was so aggressive that it would attack my green terorr
