Rosy red minnows

Picked up 3 dozen of these from petsmart and plopped them into a 10g tank. I'm hoping for them to breed, but if anyone has any experience with these (also called fathead minnows i think) it'd be appreciated.

Thought they were flathead but they are supposed to lay eggs every week I hear
