Ok so I have a new datnoid and a 13 in arowana. I've been wondering war would be the best way in going about this. I need to feed the datnoid live Prey because I can't get him to eat anything else. The arowana I just don't want him to die of a disease. But what would be safer to feed them ghost shrimp or rosy reds.? I've had othe fish I used to feed just feeders and one time I guess I fed my fish a bad one and they all died :( my poor jack dempsey rip :(. So obviously I don't want anyone dead this time dies any one have any imput to help me with this problem of mine?

breed some guppy's. And ghost shrimp will be fine.

the problem is you haven't transition your fish off of feeders. rosey red are terrible for your fish and you've already learned that the hard way.

most fish will take other types of food if you stop offering them feeders. it'll take patients on your part as you'll want to "rescue" them and give them what they're use to.

Yeah I'm trying that but I just got this little datnoid my arowana can eat sticks but I want to feed him something now then hopefully get him on something else you know
