Rotala color

Just wondering, is the coloration indicative of getting closer to the light or finally rooting and becoming established? I've had the plant about 3 weeks.

I forgot to add that on Friday I swap out the aquaticlife lamps that came with the fixture (new in spring) with a geiseman midday and an aquaflora so they might just be getting more of the spectrums they need. CO2 and ferts are the same since acquisition.

A little of both. But as the plant grows closer to the light the leaves will grow redder in color
