My local fish store has just recieved a 10" rotkeil severum in reasonably good conditions (perfect apart form 3 or 4 cichlid bites-they will obviously heal) its colouration is good however. Its being sold for £47.50. In another store some 5" rotkeil's (in very poor condition. fins torn, small deformitys etc...) were being sold for £8.50. Does anyone know the price range for Rotkeil Severums-Is the 10" severum worth it?

Not sure what there average is for where you are but I would expect to pay around $50.00 U.S . for a grown Severum like the one you pictured here in Texas.
good point i already have a nice spotted severum and a nice red spot gold severum. Plus Rotkiels here in the south west of england are hard to come by... i'll think it over
