I finally moved this pair into their own 120, and away from some nasty Hecklii. The hecklii were good dither but the fry never lasted past a few days of swimming. This time I've got a c. guntheri as dither and within a few days of moving them, they threw a small spawn.
I apologize in advance for the dirty glass and less than stellar pics. I'm not risking them eating this spawn, lol. I snapped of a few and walked away since they were getting skittish. The male kept flipping his colours.
I plan on tracking the spawn's growth through photos for everyone.
