Rotkeils with Fry...Now What?

Well my Rots finally spawned, little did I know it only took giving them their own tank(could've had them spawning 5 months ago). So these guys are not first timers, just first time for me. I've had lots of different SA/CA cichlids raise fry, is there anything different with sevs?

looks like they're guarding them well, I'd just let them go for a while. The hard part is done, I can never get mine to not eat the eggs.

I've breed them several times and rallysman is right the hard part is over. Just keep them with the parents for a few weeks and then move them to a grow out tank if you want to raise them. While their in the tank with the parents melt some baby brine shrimp for food. After that try crumbling up some Omega One color flakes for food. Severums make awesome babies to watch, very interactive.

Thanks all, ya i figured they weren'y much different then other SA/CA. Next pics I'll clean the glass, just didn't want to stress them any.

I like your pair, they look cool. I also like to use crumbled Omega One flakes for my fry, the flakes are already smaller than some other brands.
