Had an amazing time at rotterdam zoo took some pics seen a aft bit tore up in a croc enclosure was pretty awesome

Forgot the arapimia there was 3 in a huge pond with pacu turtles and about a million livebearers lol the gars were also beautiful some amazing displays

I went rotterdam once, didn't even realise there was a zoo, obviously spent too much time in the coffe shops!

I also enjoyed the coffee shops yeah I've always like zoos as questionable as the ethics are there is no way I'd be able to see so many different speices in their natural environment next I think is denmark lol

I think modern zoos are trying to do the right thing with breeding programs for endangered species and such things. On Mother's Day we went to an open range zoo here last week, it was huge and all the African animals had heaps of room to cruise around in, I thought it was a good example of a zoo doing its best to give the animals a natural enviroment. Of course most people were complaining they couldn't ge close enough to the animals to see them properly but you can't please everyone I guess.

i live in rotterdam. went to the zoo on lsd..... was so freeking cool. we got a sort of tunnel where you can walk through while sharks and turtles swim above your head. It was amazing
