Rottie spawn

Well, I've had these Rotkiels for 5 days and they spawned today. I thought something was up when they were jawlocking yesterday and then today he had all the hecklii which are twice his size at one end of the tank.

The male won't let the female near the eggs. Normal behaviour?

Thanks! I was told that they were a proven pair, but we hear that all the time. I guess the seller wasn't fibbing.

Thanks! They are not readily available here either and they're not cheap. But I know at least 2 other guys who have recently spawned them so that should help with the prices.

WHOLY SHOOT! Amazing pictures, amazing fish....just amazing.

One of my favorite fish plan to throw a couple into my 150 hopefully i can get some breeding too.
