i just received my black arowana today, he's at 6" long. his fins are a bit beat up, do these repair over time?

Pour a little Seachem Stress Guard on his fins and they should heal in a couple of weeks. We just received two with the same problem and I'm confident they will heal completely.

I have nurse some really battered ones back to health in the pass they tend to get nipped by other fish when they are small just feed him well and make sure he is not going to get bullied and all should be fine the only time they dont repair is if they get bitten on the rough of the tail.yea they can heal, even the barbels on their face can heal.. add some melafix.. and follow the directions! give it 2-4 weeks and you shouldnt be able to tell that they were beat up at all!
