Royal Clown Loach - Leptobotia elongata

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I don't have any but I noticed before that the article attached to those photos is wrong, these are large loaches that tolerate each other but do not require schools like clowns do. By large I mean that they are most often imported at 6-8" but can get to 20" long. It will take a long time to do so because like clowns they grow slowly and live a long time.

I have seen those before, but don't know anyone who has one. I DID get a couple more clowns today!

I have seen them before, pretty interesting but I will stick with the regular clowns.

More common for sale in Victoria, British Columbia and UK than here, there was a place in Hayward, Ca. that had some years ago, and Fintique in Texas had some a few months ago I think. Maybe some of the Singapore guys can get them.

Oddball says he sees them in the late summer and fall and will keep an eye out for them.
