Royal Clown Loach size

I know that RCL's are the largest loach species and can get to 20+ inches. My question is has anyone ever seen one of these things as adults? Also, are they as thick as clown loaches or are they more slender built?

I have never seen one, but I'd say that for a moment when the Royal Clown loach is the same length as the Clown loach, it will not be as "girthy". Let's say that length is 8"...or even 10"...Your clown will be at it's max, and this monster will only be halfway there! I think at full size these guys are behemoths.
